Bring us your formula. Walk away with stability data.
You have a formula. Before you scale, before you sign with a retailer, before you order 3,000 bottles — your formula needs lab-grade validation.
Formula Supplied is the bridge between a paper formula and a launch-ready product. We sample it in our Auckland studio, run a 12-week accelerated stability programme, and deliver the written report retailers ask for.
Indicative investment
Standard —. Prototype batch (up to 500ml) of your formula as-supplied, 12-week accelerated stability programme, timepoint reports at Weeks 0/4/8/12, written stability report in Week 13. We improve the formula where stability dictates but we work from your starting point.
Premium — Everything in Standard, plus reformulation input from our cosmetic chemistry team. We rebuild the formula where it makes sense, document the changes, and the prototype reflects our refined version.
Add-ons. Preservative Efficacy Test (PET) +NZ$800. Packaging compatibility +NZ$1,200. Real-time stability programme +NZ$1,500. All quoted upfront, never surprise-added.
Final investment is shared after your discovery call, once your formula and scope are confirmed.
How it works
A 12–16 week programme, run in sequence.
Week 0 — Discovery
Book a free 15-minute call. We confirm scope, materials, target start date, and share our Services Agreement. Lab work begins once it is signed and your formula details are received.
Week 1–2 — Sampling
We manufacture a prototype batch (up to 500ml) in our Auckland lab using your formula and your specified packaging.
Week 4 · 8 · 12 — Stability checks
Timepoint assessments at 40°C / 75% RH. Each timepoint we test pH, viscosity, organoleptics, phase separation and packaging compatibility. You receive a written timepoint report.
Week 13 — Final report
Full written stability report with interpretation, recommended shelf life, and any flagged risks for your retail launch. Premium tier includes a 30-minute review call.

What Formula Supplied does not cover.
Stability testing is one critical pre-launch step — it is not all of them. Formula Supplied does not include regulatory filing for your target markets (AICIS, TGA, FDA, CPNP, REACH), packaging compatibility testing in your final retail packaging (offered as a separate add-on), microbiological safety challenge testing (PET, available as an add-on), or your own market liability and insurance coverage.
We will flag every regulatory and safety concern we identify during testing. Final responsibility for product compliance, safety, labelling, and commercialisation remains with you, as set out in our Services Agreement.
